Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
PageVideoPilot ("the Service") is a tool that a Facebook Page administrator
uses to schedule and publish their own video content to their own Facebook
Pages, and to see how those videos perform. This policy explains what data
the Service handles and why.
The Service is operated on a per-customer basis: each customer runs their
own private instance. The operator of your instance is the party you
contracted with; contact details are at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
Only what is needed to do the job you asked for:
- Your dashboard account — the email address and password you use
to sign in. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text.
- Facebook data, obtained with your permission via Facebook Login:
- the list of Facebook Pages you administer, and for each connected
Page its name, Page ID, and a Page access token;
- per-Page performance metrics (for example video view counts) that
we read to build your reports;
- each Page's current status (active, unpublished, restricted) so we
can stop posting to a Page that has been suspended.
Page access tokens are encrypted at rest and are used only to
publish the videos you provide and to read the metrics above.
- Google Drive data — the ID of the one folder you designate for
your videos, and (only if you use the optional "Connect Google Drive"
button) a Google authorization token, stored encrypted. We use read-only
access: the Service can list and download video files from that folder and
can never edit or delete anything in your Drive.
- Operational records — which video was posted to which Page and
when, success/failure of each upload, and the daily/weekly report text we
generate for you.
What we do with it
- Publish the video files you place in your Drive folder to your
connected Facebook Pages, on the randomized daily schedule you configured.
- Read view counts and Page status from Facebook to produce your
dashboard figures and your emailed reports.
- Email those reports, and alerts (for example "a Page looks suspended"),
to the address you configured.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, share it with
data brokers, or use it to build profiles. We do not access any Facebook
data beyond the Pages you explicitly connect.
Who it is shared with
No third parties, other than the platforms strictly required to deliver
the Service:
- Meta / Facebook — we call the Facebook Graph API to post your
videos and read your Page metrics.
- Google — we call the Google Drive API to read your video files.
- Your email provider — to deliver your reports to the address you
set.
- Your hosting provider — your instance runs on a server rented
for that purpose.
How long we keep it
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Uploaded
video files always remain in your Google Drive — the Service only
keeps a temporary working copy during an upload and deletes it immediately
afterwards. When your account is closed, or on request, all of your data is
deleted — see Data Deletion.
Security
- All traffic is over HTTPS.
- Facebook Page tokens and any Google token are encrypted at rest.
- Sign-in is rate-limited against brute force.
- There is no public sign-up: accounts are created only by the operator.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct
it, or delete it. To delete it, follow Data
Deletion. You can also disconnect Facebook or Google access yourself from
the dashboard at any time, and revoke this app's access from your
Facebook Business Integrations
settings or your Google account permissions.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above will
change and, where appropriate, you will be notified by email.
